My name is Mason
Holcomb. I was born and raised in Fairfax and have been drawing since
the age of thirteen. From the beginning, I had always loved
portraiture. As I drew, I would analyze every nuance of the face.
Through this study, I would come to feel as though I knew the person
whom I was drawing, be they an anonymous model or a photograph. Later
on, as I went through high school, I expanded into different media,
experimenting with oil paint and black and white photography.
Currently, I attend the Academy of Art University in San Francisco,
majoring in illustration. |
