Sean Davis stretches the limits of lapidary design and technique. His carvings range from organic abstracts to precisely executed architectural pieces. His talent lies in finding the true nature of each stone and bringing it to light.
Specializing in collaborative and custom cutting designs, he has worked with such respected artists as Paula Crevoshay, Marianne Hunter, Glenn Lehrer, Ling Yen Designs, Kim Lilot, Marin Jewelers Guild Artists, Jo Adell and many others.
Sean is the 1st Place Winner of the 2008 Gemmy's Awards sponsored by Jewelry Artist Magazine for the cabochon category. His award winning pieces have shown at The Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art.
A graduate of California College of Arts & Crafts and apprenticed with Master Gem Carver , Glenn Lehrer- Sean continues his fine art of lapidary in his studio-a restored turn of the century barn in the Northern California, Petaluma countryside.
