About elsewhere GALLERY
elsewhere GALLERY is located in downtown Fairfax, an eclectic town favored by artists and musicians who have been drawn to this litle village north of San Francisco. Many undiscovered artists, energized by this environment, have also become part of the wide range of visual arts available at elsewhere. The philosophy and mission of elsewhere — to show works of high quality by local artists — has resulted in an everchanging variety of fine and interesting art. Monthly receptions are held on the first Friday of the month, 6 to 9 p.m., with live music.

Driving Directions
From San Francisco: Take US-101 north to exit 452 - the Central San Rafael exit. Turn left at the second light onto 3rd Street. Continue west, the street will become 2nd St, then 4th St., but it's all the same street. In San Anselmo stay to the right to merge onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd. elsewhere is located on the right side, at 1828 Sir Francis Drake, in the heart of Fairfax.
From the North: Take US-101 south to exit 452 toward Central San Rafael. Merge onto Hetherton St. Turn right onto 3rd St. Slight right onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Continue westward to Fairfax. elsewhere is located on the right side, at 1828 Sir Francis Drake, in the heart of Fairfax.
From the East Bay: Take I-580 West to the San Rafael/Richmond Bridge. Continue on 580 to US-101 North. Take the first exit for Central San Rafael. Continue with directions as above.
